Use of website
  1. I am committed to safeguarding the privacy of my website visitors, and I do not collect, store or use any personal data regarding your visit to this website.

  2. All debit and credit card payments made through the on-line booking system or in the shop are handled by Paypal. I do not have any access to your card information.

  3. I only use personal information that you may send to me via the “Contact Us” page in order to contact you where necessary to respond to your query. I do not pass your personal informaition on to any 3rd party.

  4. I use cookies as a WIX website to provide the services and features offered on the website, and to improve user experience. The cookies are only used to see how the site is used. The cookies cannot identify you. If you want to know more about the cookies used or use the website without cookies, select the Learn More tab on the cookies notice and follow the instructions.

 

Use of clients personal data

  1. I take my responsibilities seriously with regards to the collection, processing and management of your personal data. I have updated my process and procedures to ensure that I comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from May 25th 2018.

  2. Please read my GDPR Statement below for details of the personal information I take during your visit as a client, why I require it, how I use it, how I get consent, how you can withdraw consent, how you can ask for it to be corrected, and where you can complain if you feel I have not managed your personal data lawfully.

  3. I may update my privacy policy and any changes will be found here in the privacy policy. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.

  4. The website may contain links to other websites. I am not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites.

  5. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or my treatment of your personal data, please write to me through my contact page.

 
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  1. This tells you what information I may request from you and why I need it, what information is stored, and how I process it.

On-line booking

  1. I use a WIX on-line booking system to allow clients to easily make appointments by giving all available appointment times with pricing.

  2. Should you wish to make use of this facility, I request your name, email address and telephone number to confirm your appointment and to send an appointment reminder.

  3. On-line booking payments are handled by Paypal and direct card payments by WIX payments. I receive your name, address and email address. I do not have access to any card information.

  4. Your contact details are stored within the on-line booking system. None of your personal data is shared or passed to any 3rd party.

  5. If you contact me by phone or text to make a booking and provide an email address I will use the information to make your booking on the system as if you had made the booking on-line yourself.

  6. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the on-line booking facility without providing this information. You will still be able to make appointments by using the information on the contact page.

Payments in person

  1. Any payments for your treatment made in person at your appointment by credit card, debit card  smart payments are handled by Paypal or iZettle. I receive your name, and the amount debited. I do not have access to any card information.

  2. Your contact details are stored within Paypal or iZettle. I do not share or pass your personal data to any 3rd party.

Shop

  1. I use a WIX shop system to allow clients to purchase gift vouchers or pay for treatments.

  2. Should you wish to make use of this facility, your name, address and email address are requested along with your card details in order to make a card payment through Paypal or direct card payments WIX Payments.

  3. I only receive your name, address and email address and any additional wording for gift vouchers to enable me to send you the products you have ordered and paid for. I do not have access to any card information.

  4. Your contact details are stored within the shop system and with Paypal or direct card payments through WIX Payments. I do not share or pass your personal data to any 3rd party.

Client consultation

  1. I require your full name, address and date of birth so that I can identify your client records correctly (these are legal documents) in any necessary correspondence with 3rd parties that you authorise.

  2. I request your email address and telephone number(s) in order to contact you regarding your appointments, relating to your treatment, or contacing a named person in case of emergency.

  3. I am legally required to record essential client health information to enable me to make a safe choice of therapy based upon the state of your current and previous health.

  4. I can send you a copy of the forms prior to your appointment if you wish to know what questions I may ask.

  5. Should any of your personal or health details change, it is important that you let me know so that your records remain up to date.

  6. I do not share or pass these personal details to any 3rd party.

  7. You are not obliged to provide your email address or telephone contact details. If you would like to remove your email address and telephone number(s) please let me know, and I shall do so within 5 working days.

  8. Please note that, without this information I would only be able to contact you by post. I would be unable to contact you quickly should I need to inform you of a change to your appointment in the event that I am unable to see you, and I would be unable to send an email appointment reminder.

  9. If you choose not to receive an appointment email reminder, and you miss your appointment, you may be charged the full fee, for the missed appointment.

  10. I may use your personal details to contact you (by post, email or text) with information, such as newsletters regarding my services or of a general healthcare matter, or with requests for feedback. You may withdraw your consent at any time – simply let me know, and I shall stop doing so within 5 working days.

 
Client records
  1. I am legally required to record essential client information that I take from you during your initial consultation and each subsequent appointment to enable me to make a safe choice of therapy based upon the state of your current and previous health.

  2. I only have these records on paper and you may request a copy at any time.

  3. If you request a copy of your client record I aim to provide you with a copy within 5 working days of your request, and will always comply with the statutory maximum of 20 days.

  4. There is no charge for a copy of these records.

  5. I will not share or pass your client records to any 3rd party, with the exception of: other healthcare professionals such as your GP or consultant; your insurance company or legal representatives in the case of a medicolegal investigation where you have given written consent.

  6. I store copies of all client correspondence in paper form and only accessible to me. Statutory minimum storage times for client records and associated correspondence are 7 years after the date of the last appointment or 25 years of age if under 18 at the time of the last treatment.

  7. Any records to be destroyed will be done so safely by burning or shredding.
